Right gear for threshers...please help

Hi everyone,
I need some help on what the best way is to get threshers (i.e. leaders, hooks, and rigging) I have a whole case full of rapalas and just need to know what to tie them to. I usually use 50lb test but was wondering what size leader to use, or if i should use wire or what. Thanks and all help appriciated.
