This an old question that is always answered in the same way, and it has been answered that way here too. In a nutshell...YOU need to try it! Deal with a reputable dealer who will let you do that. A few shops have special days where you can try many kayaks. Kayaks Santa Barbara, Southwu\ind in Irvine, Alan in San Diego.
