I am a fly fisherman and I have heard that Kayaks are for rent in the area of the Mosquito lagoon. Do you have a phone number for that?
Thank You

: : : I am new to the sport and wondering what all of you think is the best all around fishing kayak.

: : I'm in the same boat - currently looking at Tarpon 140, Perception Bimini, and Malibu Extreme. So far, the Extreme looks like it offers the best layout - but Im concerned with bow height in the surf and hull slap for the flats. Unfortunatlely I can't locate a dealer here in FLA to water test. I fish the IRL, Mosquito Lagoon and coastal waters across the state. If you've found any others, please advise.

: This an old question that is always answered in the same way, and it has been answered that way here too. In a nutshell...YOU need to try it! Deal with a reputable dealer who will let you do that. A few shops have special days where you can try many kayaks. Kayaks Santa Barbara, Southwu\ind in Irvine, Alan in San Diego.

: Jerry
