OK will not replace the kayak, also if the kayak is cracked from to much sun it may be brittle also. I would push down real hard on the hull and deck to make sure it does not crack further. This is a rare occurance but if this kayak was left out in the sun for a real long time it is possible.You certainly don't want that happening when you are offshore. Remember the scrambler model has been around a very long time, who knows how old the kayak you have is.
