My experience with Paddle Power in Newport Beach

Hi,

First let me say, it's so nice to come to a board where you can post and not have it deleted or a critical unwanted email sent to you.

I was just about set to install 2 flush mount rod holders in my Ride. It's a little scary to sink a 2 inch hole in your yak. I decided to check out the Ocean Kayak Prowler that I've read so much about so
I drove down to Paddle Power. They just added one to their rental fleet.

I can't say enough good things about the owners, Jim and Julie. Jim enthusiastically gave me a lot of good tips on what he's learned over being in business for 15 years. If anyone doesn't know, they are located practically on the water and they rent a lot of kayaks.
He is a very knowledgeable person and should I decide to buy the Prowler, I will buy it from him. I am grateful to Jim. He cleared a lot of stuff up for me. He's got my business, for sure.

BTW, they've got a real nifty seat "cushion" that is made by a company that makes products for hospitals so they know what they're doing. Much better than the gel seat.
