I'm not sure about value... but if it answers the question: after using this seat, I wouldn't hesitate one second to buy another one if this one got stolen, so I guess value is relative. RE: Thanks, I was asking because it would be so much easier for me(renting a kayak ) to have a fishing seat and travel without all the baggage to an unfamilar location.
