: Hey guys I need some help. I had a couple of eyelets pop off while I was twoing my kayak behind a boat. The kayak rolled and by the time the boat stopped the eyeltets were torn off. My question is, is it better to cover up the rivot holes with epoxy, and place the eyelets in another spot, or should I melt some scraps onto the holes and place the eyelets in the same spot? RE: What I would say is to seal the holes with plastic melted into it and move the mounting hole to a new place.Just don't run out of places.
