John, Very pleased so far with the boat. I did go back out, only with my 10lb setup, a few tails and heads. No gaff, net, clip. When will I learn?? Casted downwind outside the kelp, let lure get to bottom, took up the slack and WHAM. Very powerfull headshakes, and a few minutes later I was staring at estimated 35" flatie that swallowed the lure. All I saw was teeth, and line. No one around to assist so I opened the large hatch, figured gill shot and drop it in. 3 attempts, snap. Oh well. Awesome weather,I know your family had a great time. BTW went out Sun PM @ Seaside, just a mile south. Nice quality bass, and my freind Jim Henley scored a 29" butt. Great place to camp. I live a few miles away, and still camp 4-5 times a year there.
