I just bought a fish finder. It's being installed this week. It's a Humminbird 200DX. It has a through-hull transducer. I bought it used but I'm pretty sure it's about $200 new. The humminbirds are used by a lot of Kayak fisherman as well as other brands. I know some guys who post to this board who have the same model as I have and they are happy with it. They are also very experienced kayak fisherman. Run a search for FISH FINDERS on any major search engine and do some research. They list specs etc. Don't spend too much. I've been told that anything around the $150 range should be all you'll ever need. Good Luck.
