Piers/surf in southern new jersey

Hi:

I'm making my first trip to Southern New Jersey (Cape May north to Stone Harbor) in a few weeks after spending a week surffishing and goofing off in Delaware. Can anyone advise me of some good surffishing spots or piers/jetties in the area, most common fish this time of year and preferred bait/lures?
