For anyone interested, the Kayak Connection here in Santa Cruz is sponsoring another Father's Day Fishing Derby. 1st prize an OK sit on top kayak.
Heaviest fish wins......daybreak till 1pm, weigh in till two, I think. Details on their website link below.
Proceeds go to benefit the Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Restoration Project.
We need more people to enter and see if we can beat Jonathan for once!
(PS-Jonathan has won three times. The last time he tied with a newbie, and gracious gent that he is, forfeited his claim to the new kayak 1st prize) great fisherman and sterling fellow indeed.
