Ill bet hummingbird doesnt know your trying to mount puck in a plastic kayak that has a hull that will flex. Epoxy works well for rigid hulls but will pop off plastic and isnt really made to be flexable. You may want to use something like marine (or plumbers) goop or 3M 4700. Dont use silicone since it has no holding power even though it flexes great.

: Thanks jas . . . humminbird actually has an epoxy set they recommend, and I got that. The big experiment goes down this weekend . . . here's hopin I don't mess it up.!
