I've caught alot of sharks from yaks and boats. As everyone knows T-sharks are doable, and a few guys have accidentally caught and released blues. Makos, even by crazy guys, get the long distance release. I've seen little ones chew on swim steps and everything else that interests them, and what happens if a big one shows up. One night a BIG mako killed the hell out of a seal right by our boat. I thought about doing it from a yak once, for bout a second.
