Jas, do you launch kayaks at Salsi? I surf there as much as I can(OK, twice a year with wife permision) Im impressed by anybody lugging a yak down the gully there in front of the main peak. I take it that is a two man effort? i was down there about a month ago, and the taco stand in the grove is now open during the winter in the evenings!! ( although they charge way to much for a taco:(. The place has come a long ways, they even have running water for rinse off
