Is this your 1st kayak? Have you tried paddling other models and do you hit the boat with them also?
You might want to take a moment to analyze your paddling style and perhaps try a longer paddle depending on how tall you are and how steep your paddling style is. If you are using a 220cm, try out a 230 or 240cm.
