dont use well nuts , use pop rivits they make them for marine use there are probably some already on your boat take it to a paddle shop and they will put them on for next to nothing.or you can buy your own rivits and tool the tool costs about $20.00 rivits are cheep dont need any access to inside of boat. also rivits can be drilled out anytime you need to, vary easily.rivits are what are holding probably everything that is on your boat. a monkey can use a rivit tool.
