johnz_fightingfish.jpg (24148 bytes)          Chuck Hart, a teacher on the Big Island, joined the ranks of kayak fishermen successfully bringing in lunkers with very light gear.  After trolling only 15 minutes off the coast of the Big Island, Chuck snagged a 25 lb. ahi(yellowfin tuna). After a good fight, the tasty fish surrendered to the inevitable and Chuck took home dinner to the wife and kids.

On a Memorial Day Weekend, Dr. Dick Boranian pulled in this 50+ lb. ono (also known as wahoo). After a half hour fight off the coast of the Big Island, Hawaii, Dick hauled the monster back to shore in the front hatch of his Scupper Pro.  Nice catch!
