: First off.. thanks for all the great feedback about how best to get a fishin rig setup !

: One other big question.... does anyone have a good way to keep fish(es) fresh once landed in the yak? I saw the La Jolla game bag, but it's pricey, and my Frenzy doesn't have storage, obviously.

: I've used catch line (just a string) in the past, but that was for 1 or 2 small fish. If I get any size I don't know what I'll do (short of paddle back in). I have a dry bag, but if I put ice in it... it'll melt. Don't want to spoil the catch!

: thanks again in advance!

Diver mesh game bags work pretty well. Your fishing area's water and air temp will determine how much time you can keep your fish exposed to the elements. Keeping the fish moist by an occasional dunking helps. If the water(freshwater) is cold, just leave them over the side while you're drifting and hoist it back up when you're paddling. If you're going after warm blooded fish, ice is much more critical to preventing spoilage.
