: I have a Hobie Outback and installed the fish finder sensor with epoxe glue on the inside just as the Hummingbird instructions said, but the material that the boat is made of did not hold the epoxe and after 3 weeks is came off. Does anyone have any experience with this application and you know what kind of adhesive to use.

: Also what do you think of the Outback for Ocean fishing? Thanks Bill

2 part epoxy works for me. Rhyno will tell you that N bond is the key. Many use Marine Goop. Be sure to lightly sand and clean the mounting surface (yak).

I have yet to pedal the Outback. From what I've heard, it doesn't perform as well in a choppy or rough environment. Though keep in mind this isn't from my experience, just comments I've heard from a couple of owners. Under fair-good conditions, it's fast and fairly effortless.
