Just got off the phone with RFA HQ. Randy Repass, WM Chairman of the Board and founder, talked to Jim Donofrio yesterday. Mr Repass said he was unaware of the facts around MPA's as proposed, and he certainly doesn't support blanket reserves. He regreted that he had been given only one side to the story, and he was put in touch with RFA's scientist who will give him a more balanced view. Mr Repass requested the papers to make WM a corporate sponsor of RFA. He wants to make all 245 of WM's retail outlets RFA signup stations.
I look forward to my next shopping trip to WM (today!). I will meet the store manager too and thank him in advance for their support, and offer my services in helping to get RFA's word out there and encourage more business for WM.
