Prize Summary and Plug:
We have 2 Grand Prize kayaks, one for the winner of each main division. It's almost like having 2 tournaments simultaneously. One Big Fish Tournament and One Bass Tournament. If you don't win the kayaks, we have prize placements for 2nd-7th places of both Main Divisions (also additional prizes for the Parent/Child Subdivision/Sidebet) you might win a new Daiwa Saltiga, Avet MX, Surf to Summit GTS Fishing Seat, Deluxe kayak wheels, Paddles, Rhynobar, precision compasses and/or several other kayak fishing gear and accessories. I'm not blowing smoke...but there are too many to list. If you don't get lucky in the tournament, you may have better luck in the raffle. Lots and lots of good stuff there. No smoke blowing there either...it's just a fact and I'm pretty stoked about that. A lot of sponsors have stepped forward and stepped up to the plate to be part of this event with the kayak fishing community. It hasn't been easy, but nothing worthwhile is.
Just for showing up, you'll receive a gift/give-away bag with an event shirt, lures(Kroc or Crippled Herring & Fish Traps) and a few other goodies valued now at over $30/bag. The bags aren't unlimited either. There's no way for me to predict tournament attendance, but I'll have 100 bags ready to go.
Btw, barbeque is included. We haven't completed the menu yet but I do know we'll have at least marinated chicken, burgers, hot dogs and sides.
For $20 ($30 if registering on day of the event), I don't see how anyone can go wrong.
