I think the Big Fish will be a white seabass. It's a good time to be fishing them there. A few have been caught there recently. Gabe and I both caught one there not long ago. There were short but only by a few inches.
Work the bottom with live bait and/or plastics. If a wsb doesn't find your rig, a halibut might. A great guy to contact about the bite there is Bill Hogan at Hogan's Bait & Tackle. He talks to a lot of guys that fish that area "via" yak, boat and shore.
