There were at least two articles/columns in the L.A. Times today in protest to the super rich who have thumbed their nose at the Coastal Commission and the law.Seems as if you have plenty of $$$$$ you ARE the law.The female owner of the Santa Barbera newspaper paid over $400,000 in fines for non-compliance to allowing the public on the beach down from her castle.A monied music guy and other such have reniged on deals they had to allow access in regard to permits they obtained to change their homes.No class envy here;but what is due to the public is due and it will take a group effort to reclaim what belongs to all,rich or poor.This state is getting very close to what happened in New York and most of Europe where as the rich boxed the public out of their god given rights.Stand up or be crushed,because there is no other way.Scott Shaw
