I live in North County. I have launched from Cardiff and Seaside. Seaside has better parking
and the day I was there it was a pretty easy launch. There are two kelpbeds there. One almost straight out and a little to the North. This one doesn't have much action. The one to the South
is the one you want. I was talking to some regulars there that were spear fishing from thier kayaks. They told me they seee white seabass and occationaly yellows there along with the calicos and sandies. Hope this helps.
