Thanks Jas for fun time. I really enjoyed it and the good company that launched in the early morning. The Krispy cream donuts fuelled me to paddle the 300 yard jeddy/breakwall then around again to the point.
The water was exceptionally clear and the weather excelent for kayak fishing. I entered the shootout for halibut but mananged a catch and release day on the sand bass and calico for a fun day on the water.
Aside from the pleasure of meeting fellow kayak anglers, I was picking up plastic bottles in front of the big jetty and found a nice hoop net in the process! The low tide was neptunes payback for cleanup.
(btw) The debree I collected was clearly from days or weeks before.
Anyway, I look forward to the next tournament and the oppurtunity to fellowship with other kayak anglers.
