It would seem to me that you can sell the guitar. Check Recycler.com and Musicconnection.com. I'm sure if it's worth around $1200, you can price it to sell for $1000 and purchase a stripped down Pro II new for about $400. You'll have plenty of money left over to purchase some additional kayak fishing accessories.
