: Hey Rhino,Where is the wall? I has fished up there quite a bit and never heard of that. I have always nailed the rockfish with the rainbow trout fish traps, they really seem to like those up there. -Kerrry

Standing on the beach,to the north side of the Pier, at William Randolph Hearst State Beach Park, look toward the bluffs that are at the end of the beach. Those bluffs are other wise know as the wall. The shallow water is a fun way to save a trip if the wind is howling outside, as I found out last year. Dont be afraid to throw your plastic in against the "wall", let it sink, and twitch it back to the yak. The all white Fish Trap in 3-1/2" or 4", w/ 1/4 oz white head was good or a white blam also knoked em dead. Water deapth were we fished was 5' to 10'deep, almost like freshwater bassin, in tight and look for the little sand pockets. TL Rhino
