: I saw a Scupper Pro TW for a good price, new. It's about 150-200 less than the Prowler.Good choice for kayak fishing in shallow bay waters? I weigh 180 and am 5'7".

The Scupper Pro TW has been a great kayak for me. Your size is well within the Scupper range. There are more stable yaks out there but the more you get use to the Scupper, the more stable it becomes (if that makes sense).

I paddled the Prowler for a few minutes yesterday. It's more stable than the Scupper and shares some of the paddling characteristics and feel of the Scupper. It also has more deck and tankwell space than the Scupper.
