You are going to LOVE that kayak. It hauls butt. Gets you through the breakers nicely. Though it can be tough if you take a wave on your way back in. Nice thing is it's so quick, that if you time the surf well, you can get in pretty quick.

Remember that if you're not use to a touring style of SOT, they can be a little wobblie when you're reaching behind you or shifting your weight quick. I learned to maintain a solid, lower spot of gravity in order to stabilize it (that's true w/ any kayak, but this one requires it for stability). Picture all your weight loaded up on your rear end and your thighs. If you have to paddle more than a mile a couple of miles to get to the bite, this kayak is fantastic for that. Though once you get use to it, you won't even notice the difference.

ENJOY!!!

Tight lines,

: Not like it's last-minute timing or anything, but I'm off to pay off my Scupper TW and bring her home! My Onno Signature paddle should be at the office tomorrow when I get to work (with my boat on the car to add to the I'm a cool cat image). I'll post a review on the paddle when I get the chance. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve! Thanks again to THIS SITE for helping me make the decision without a test paddle.

: Here's the killer- I work 2 jobs on weekends and have NO time to play with my new toy. Not until Sunday night when I begin my week vacation in SOUTH PADRE! Some things DO work out, eh? Peace and a GROOVY good week to y'all.

: tight lines and HEAVY stringers,

: from Texas, y'all
