I went out early and fishi from about 7:30-1:30. I fished the first set of kelp and picked up a sand bass and a calico. Later I moved farther down the beach into the second set of kelp. That's where I picked my first Halibut off a kayak. It felt pretty good bringing up a 13lb. halibut right in front of a boat from Capt. Hooks full of people on a plastic.
Total for the day was:
4 Calicos
1 Sand Bass
1 Johnny Bass
1 Halibut
