I never paddled the drifter. I always thought it was an OK attempt at a FnD type product. You are a big guy. Try a lot of yaks before you buy.

: A lot of folks saw my Prowler review; when I paddled that out it was more because the opportunity presented itself, not because I was in the market. Now due to a better than expected Ebay auction (my first actually) I find myself 80% in the market for a new boat with another 5 days to go. (Fingers crossed) Up here in the Pismo area I only have immediate access to an OK and Cobra dealer, and the Cobra's don't seem to be quite what I'm looking for (don't be a hater), so.... anybody with first/second/third hand info on the ride in a new drifter (I've never paddled an old one BTW) please pipe up. Even better if you're near the 6'4" 270# mark.
