I'm not going to clain great knowledge on this but I usually end doing some crazy sorta fire drill all over the kayak. I'll hold the pole with the fish and reach over to the pole with out the fish still in the holder and wind it in. Then I'll pull in the drift chute if its out. Then I get to actually put some preasure on the fish. Last Sunday I was drifting 2 lines off O-side and hooked a yt. I ended up getting tangled in the 2nd line and just cutting it off. Saved the fish and only cost me a cheap bait hook. Felt a little bad about dumping the line in the ocean though. You'll work out a system when it happens and hopefully it won't be to loose the other rod in the ocean. Now, what happens when you hook 2 fish? Mike
