There has been a red tide around that area for several weeks. Be careful what ends up on the dinner plate. Incredible phosphoresent(sp?) tide at night though. We were camping at sycamore cyn last week and was treated to a psycadelic light show that (after a few beers) I actually went for a midnight swim in. Much fun!!
