Thanks for the responce, good information. I'm still a newbie at kayak fishing. Originally wanted a yak to haul out baits for fishing sharks in the surf. But while researching Kayak's found out about you guy's actually fishing off them and that sparked a real interest. Right now I'm just getting some practice in the boat , and trying to gather information and meet a few of the the guy's that are expierienced at it. After I spend more time practicing surf launches and landings, and fishing the bays, when my confidence level is comfortable, I'll be ready to give it a try.
Understand that I'm a level headed guy and will take all the necessary safety precautions, but I also love a bit of risk, and adventure.
As with most things I take an interest in I usally research them to death.
By the way read your post on San Simon Rocks,(Now that's what I'm talking about). Great post! Can't wait!
