Gearman,

I was wondering if that was you. Blues and kayak fishing are a perfect match. You should know, you've been doing both for many years.

Gearman provided me with my first kayak to fish off of (Malibu II)years ago.   We also use to play in a hot blues band together called the "Burners". Another buddy of ours and myself would take the Malibu II down to Baja with 2 rods, a milk crate and a whole lot of inexperience. Learning to kayak fish from a tandem (2 anglers)was like baptism by fire, especially when there's a big swell.

Save me a few ono and ahi for when I come out to visit. Keep me in mind when you start getting some gigs. It's just a 4hr flight away.

I'll see ya before you take off. Tell Joy that Ina says hi.

Mahalo nui loa
