: Are White Sea Bass and/or Yellowtail found around the La Jolla kelp patty year round? Are you guys still catching a lot of fish there? Thanks for any and all info!

Nothing is ever certain, some years they are here all year, not usually though. The wsb are unpredictable, but if you can use squid for bait or if squid are around the WSB will likely show up.
The yellows do go south when the water gets cold 55 to 59. yes some are resident fish and do stick around, but these are very savvy fish and are hard to hook
. Lighter line helps, but they are very hard to stop with light tests. They will tke you straight to the rocks.
Hope this helps a little Adam.

Jerry
