: : : : Yeah that's right it's me. This is a first time post on this board. Controversy is my auora because I've got that East Coast fast lip thing. But I come in peace :)Is it alright to post info and questions about the Malibu line of Kayaks on this board?I'm testing one tomorrow morning with a very thorough test. Unfotunately The first test will be limited to some kind of bay. I may have to bring it home to San Diego for a complete the review.Art Art, You can post a review about any boat from any manufacturer you wish. I prefer it be from first hand experience. Since your plan is to test paddle it first, post away.jas Thanks. I was wondering does anyone know what's the deal with the foam inside the Malibu Yak thing?See I'm going to intercept the yt migration thru the cortez this thanksgiving and I wanted to get a lighter boat in case I have to race Neil to the fish.Art A lighter boat compared to what? It's certainly not a light boat but how could it be at those dimensions. I think the weight is reasonable considering it's mass, hatch options and added foam.Foam? I think the foam is a neat idea. Should Sparky take a bite out of it, my yak will still float, lol. That's a joke people. Sparky doesn't want to eat us. He's just looking for some company a little higher up in the food chain. I think the foam also adds some density and strength to the yak.jas

A lighter boat compared to my cabo.
