The season for lobster opens on 9-27 at 12:01 (Saturday morning) and if you are hoop netting the bugs PLEASE be sure you have a measuring gage on your possession. By law,(DFG-Fish&Game code) regardless of the size of the lobster caught, you are STILL REQUIRED to have a measuring devise in your possession.
In other words, if you have a 10 pound lobster on your kayak, you can be cited for not having a mesuring devise with you.
BUY A LOBSTER GAGE.....
