Brendan, great report. I can't wait to get back up there. During my one solo foray I was broken off time after time by bigger fish; I was wishing I'd brought that stick you pronounced as "too big." Next time I'm bringing 12 and 20 lb outfits.
Some advice about predicting local Big Sur weather and swell conditions would be most appreciated.
