I learned on a Malibu II. It's a great boat but like many tandems, it's difficult to fish with 2 people on it. I think the tandem from Malibu Kayaks has a better deck lay out for fishing.
If I was planning to fish with two men at or over 200lbs, I would test drive the Cobra Triple. I haven't paddled one but they certainly have enough room for 2 full size dudes to comfortably fish off of.
