I had thought about ponto and Cardiff. Having surfed those areas, I know those breaks pretty well. I was also thinking that there might be a decent halibut bite in close to the surf line since there are lots of sandy areas and halibut seem to be attracted to rivermouth areas.

I'll post where we finally decide to launch if anyone is inclined to join us.
