: I have always used Humminbird 200dx's, for the simple reason they snap off the base for those wet launches and landings. Will be demoing the 2 units at the end of the month over big water, so I will give you a report then. I did use the Piranah 1 last weekend in Mission Bay and had no problems and the unit worked fine on the shallow stuff. I am anxious to see how the units work when I am trying to troll the 40 fathom line off the Big Island, can you say sleigh ride. TL Rhino
RE: Have fun on Kona; nice island,plenty of fish, great for snorkel/skin diving/bugs. When in hawaii, buy a spear.
