: Sorry the picture was not better, but the sun was beaming right in the lense a few minutes ago.My wife and Children ate breakfast on the 11th floor this morning and remarked how incredible it was to see all the kayaks that dotted the cove. They were worried that I was one of the ones way out there.Great Tournament as usual. This year I brought the family and they remarked that we should do this every year! Jim was an outstanding tournament host as usual. I managed to come away with more than I put in, just like last year. Another big plus was that Mark Olsen of Ocean Kayak had a new Prowler, updated Prowler and Malibu II XL. I took a bunch of pictures and some live digital footage and will edit it as soon as I can.I launched at 4:00 am with Grego and think that next year I will sleep in and launch at 5:30 am. Fishing in the dark is fun a few times, but I think I can do just as good and catch a little more sleep. I managed a Calico, jumbo wide body Mac and farmed a ton fish that pelted my crayfish. I used up my xl sardines and could not make any bait on my own. Eventhough I did not do too well, I was glad to be here and support the Moyer family. The tournament winning fish was a 19 lb YT with a big seal bite out of it. Iceman took second with his YT. Val took 3rd with a 17 lb YT. Girl Power! Lings, halibut and rock fish were in the mix.Lots of fun with great people.A new Drifter was raffled off along with so many other prizes there were too many to count. Were off to Legoland tomorrow and I might be fishing LAke Arrowhead on Monday.
