I have not yet launched from the areain front of the Ritz but have been scuba diving there many many times the area is great for a launch but it is within a marine sanctuary so fishing is not allowed (even if you fish the deep water offshore entering and exiting through the sancuary with fish is illegal) the sanctuary begins at divers cove just a little North of the Ritz and extends past the main beach in Laguna and ends at Woods cove at the end of diamond street.
