: Great journal entry. The disclaimer is well stated as night fishing can be dangerous. This spring a friend of mine rescued a kayak fisherman around sunset who had lost his paddle, gone in after it and was unable to catch up to his now drifting away kayak. It was pretty dark at the time and my friend was running in in his Whaler when he thought he heard something. Lucky for the hapless yakfisherman that he turned the boat to investigate.Dave
