I used my 6/0 for flying kites, my kids loved it.
We drew a crowd too, but most could not find the kite.it was lower on the horizion than they would have guessed (dacron) I've done this for my grand kids, they argue over who's turn it is!
yes, Penns last forever and if you need a part it's simple. I wonder what store in the vally sold the reel to lockheed? I think it was me in 1970
