: Having surfed up in Northern Cal for the past few years, I have a 4/3 mil wet suit. Since I've started Kayak fishing, I've used it a few times on some of the colder summer mornings. However, found that it is a bit cumbersome (uncomfortable) on the kayak. Looking to hear from all, if there is an adequate alternative that is less restricting, but will offer the same or better protection from the elements. I think that I've seen a few posts before, and will take a look at the archives, but if you have a suggestion, I’ll gladly take them. Thanks in advance.

Re: The 4/3 is the norm if you ask the rental shops. Mysterioso makes a great underlayment, and NRS makes a great paddle jacket and pants.Maybe it is just an issue about the 1 piece verse the 2 piece.
