For live bait fishing lings a long leader single good either 3' above the torpedo with at least 3' for the bait to swim around. Another good ling rig is the droper loop with a long leader. They love big Dino's, sand dabs, and live squid. Smaller rockfish will work too. I caught my biggest on a regergitated octopus that I got from a rock fish. If you don't have lbigger live baits stick with the jigs and you will catch plenty. Big plastics will also work well. Jerryg
