Launched about 5:45 near the mouth where I ran into Backbay Dave and a gentleman named Brian. The two of them stayed inside as I went outside of the harbor. I turned left and trolled about 3 miles down the coast pulling Rapallas and Yo-zurri crystal minnows. All for NADA. I stopped on a few kelpbeds and boiler rocks and threw Storms and Spinner Baits for another big NADA. I worked my way back up the coast and back into the harbor to toss at some of my favorite Halibut spots for more NADA. Although I had a big ol' stripe down my boat today, it was a beautiful day on the water and I did have a pod of porpoise pop up next to me near Crystal Cove.
