I tried Elkhorn Slough today on the incoming tide. I caught more rock crabs than I've ever seen in my entire life. I bet I caught 50 of those things. The vast majority of them were undersized, but there were a few that I could've kept if I felt like dealing with them. I tried chumming with some blended up jacksmelt and sardines, but it didn't seem to do any good. All in all I got the rock crabs and one bullhead. No sharks to be seen.
